Terms / Website and service
Terms &
conditions.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
These terms govern use of the Afterglow Auto Detail Co. demonstration website and any future request for mobile automotive detailing. Because this is a fictional demo, business-specific prices, contact details, cancellation rules, and governing jurisdiction must be verified before launch.
Website information
Website content is general information and does not guarantee a particular result, service duration, price, or availability. A booking submission is a request and is not confirmed until accepted by Afterglow.
Vehicle assessment
Service recommendations depend on vehicle size, material, condition, prior work, and the customer’s goals. Paint correction, stain removal, odor treatment, specialty surfaces, and protection services may require inspection before scope and pricing can be confirmed.
Appointments and access
The customer must provide accurate location details, lawful access to the vehicle, keys where needed, and a safe place to work. Requirements for water, power, shade, ventilation, or covered space should be confirmed before the appointment.
Weather and site conditions
Mobile services are affected by rain, temperature, wind, lighting, and site safety. Afterglow may reschedule, pause, change the service setup, or decline work when conditions could compromise safety or the result.
Pricing and authorization
Initial pricing may be based on information supplied before arrival. Additional time or work caused by undisclosed condition, excessive contamination, pet hair, stains, specialty materials, modifications, or access limitations requires customer approval where applicable.
Cancellations and delays
Appointments are subject to scheduling and suitable conditions. The production business should insert its verified notice period, deposit terms, late-arrival rules, and any cancellation or rescheduling fee before using these terms.
Customer responsibilities
Please remove valuables, personal documents, unsecured items, child seats when requested, and anything that may prevent access to the areas being serviced. Disclose fragile trim, recent paintwork, coatings, wraps, repairs, leaks, electrical issues, or other known conditions before work begins.
Pre-existing conditions and results
Detailing may reveal chips, scratches, stains, oxidation, etching, wear, failing clear coat, degraded trim, dye transfer, prior repairs, or other pre-existing conditions. Not every defect can be safely removed. Recommendations prioritize material integrity over aggressive correction.
Photos and marketing
Photos may be taken to document condition and completed work. Vehicle or property images will not be used publicly for marketing without appropriate permission. License plates, addresses, and personal details should be avoided or obscured where practical.
Payment and aftercare
Payment is due according to the confirmed service terms. The customer is responsible for following coating, drying, curing, and maintenance instructions. Failure to follow aftercare guidance may affect durability or appearance.
Limitation and consumer rights
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Afterglow is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from website use, scheduling changes, vehicle unavailability, or conditions beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes, law, and contact
These terms may change as services and legal requirements evolve. The verified governing jurisdiction and business contact details must be inserted before a real launch. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
